Some thoughts about this with blogs....

Dear Friends,

This is going to be my first blog comment. Historical moment, as to say!!

Never really understood nor bothered about these things in the past. However, bear with me, you will experience my professional growing on this subject. As it is never too late to adapt oneself to our reality, however are just having a slight feeling of being some prehistoric.

Everything started when writing our wine marketing course, studying closer successful wineries in the world. I saw that a small winery in the nowhere in South Africa got known internationally through its blog. A wonderful wine case to be studied by each Spanish winery (this is one of the cases that is commented in our Wine Marketing Course).

I receive every week CH’NG Poh Tiong’s ( Publisher/Editor of The Wine Review, Chinese Bordeaux Guide and Asian Sommelier Guide) e-newsletter (wine@pacific.net.sg). A nice man, with whom I have exchanged some lines with. In his newsletters, he writes in a direct and personal way which goes directly to your heart. His way of writing made me continuing reading his comments on wines which he tastes and read about all the traveling he is doing around the world.

With the blog, one found myself doing a monologue and hope that there may be somebody in the outer space listening to my words and will respond to my thoughts.

I will do only one promise to those who will read my part of our Proodevo blog. This promise is to comment on my personal experience on our daily life in wine business and not any boring academic desk experience.

I would like to make a toast to the inauguration of Proodevo’s wine blog.
